Week of Actions & Next Meet

There's a busy week coming up of work for the OC Transit Riders' Union as we fight to get an accessible transit system in Ottawa. We are still facing constant fare hikes, service cuts, and unchallenged racist, sexist and abilist harassment on buses. This must stop.

#1: ACTION ITEM

We need people this week for an action at major transit stations. From Tues June 22 - Thurs June 24 we will be on the ground promoting the Union and talking with riders. This will take place in the evenings (starting 6-8pm).

#2: NEXT MEET

Friday June 25, 5-7pm in the St. Laurent area (by routes #5 and #7).

We are currently not releasing new information to the media or are available for comments and interviews. We appreciate the publicity we received from CFRA.

We also ask that political candidates do not inquire to attend our meetings. The OC TRU is currently non-partisan.
